Let’s Run as One
Covid-19 has had an impact on everybody in some way or other and The Dublin Neurological Institute (DNI) is no different. We rely solely on donations and charitable grants and our patients need your support. Although based in Dublin we support patients from all over Ireland.
The increasing age of our population means increasing numbers of people with neurological disease. In fact 1 in 2 women and 1 in 3 men develop dementia, stroke or Parkinsonism during their life.* 700,000 people in Ireland are currently suffering suffer from neurological disease and there is simply not enough services to support them.
The cost of running the DNI for a year is a minimum of €100,000 but the more funds we have the more patients we can treat. A year of restrictions and lockdowns has really hampered our ability to raise funds and we need your help.
LET’S RUN AS ONE:
We’re asking you to do 3 things:
1. run as one for 5km (or walk, we’re not fussy!)
2. make a donation at gofundme.com/f/dnirun or alternately Text: DNI to 50300 to donate €4 (T&Cs apply).
3. spread the word amongst your friends
LET’S RUN AS ONE!
Here’s the DNI Frontline Staff encouraging you to join with them in this special event:

This event is the 2nd year of the DNI having to deal with the inability to organise our usual fundraising events and campaigns due to the Covid 19 pandemic. In 2020 we received tremendous support from our staff, patients and supporters and we hope to match and improve on these efforts if possible this year with your help.
