Are you a person with Parkinson’s or a related condition?
You may be eligible for a study that aims to understand whether recording your eye movements can help diagnose these conditions and potentially understand how they change over time.
You qualify to participate in this study if . . .
1. You are person with Parkinson’s disease
2. You have any of the following diagnoses: Parkinsonism, Atypical Parkinsonism, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), Corticobasal syndrome (CBS).
What is involved if I participate?
A single 40-minute visit including:
a) Short assessments on your feelings, thoughts, and mood
b) Assessments of your condition similar to those you have at clinic visits
c) You will then be asked to observe 10 minutes of video clips on a television screen. The video clips will change every few seconds while a high-tech camera will record the movement of your eyes (see picture below)
