Public Announcement

The DNI welcomes the overall reductions in COVID-19 restrictions but we must remain vigilant to ensure patient and staff safety.

If you are a patient, please note that non-essential outpatient appointments are returning to normal. Where possible, virtual clinics (telephone discussion) will take place to review the current position of patients, with a follow up visit to be arranged when necessary. Patients whose appointments are deferred will be contacted by our reception staff by telephone.

Our staff are working extremely hard to deal with the virus and to care for all patients currently in the hospital. The DNI continues to employ all infection control measures and every effort is being made to manage and control the spread of the virus. Face masks are still required for people visiting the DNI.
